Save Ocean

The Ocean Life Series was inspired from popular sea life that are essential in maintaining a happy ecosystem; whales, turtles, jellyfish, cranes, plankton, seals, fish, crabs, sea urchins, and coral beds. Magmo’s unique illustrative style of complex collage, line, and shape is both contemporary and primitive. Each piece depicts the dangerous imbalance between animal and pollution. The unhealthy effects and debris associated with pollution have been abstracted into colors, shapes, and patterns which entangle and surround the animals creating the unnatural and hazardous environments, which unfortunately often go unnoticed.

Magmo knows that polluting the ocean has a direct negative impact on ocean life, human health, and the future of our Earth, and is very excited to spread the "SAVE OCEAN" message.

The Ocean Life illustrations where created for a picture book concept, titled "Save Ocean", intended to help raise public awareness of the problems and solutions of ocean pollution. The illustrations will be combined with a short story that will suggest ways for humans to keep our ocean clean and happy for everyone to enjoy.

Magmo would like The Ocean Life Series and Save Ocean message to evolve into a variety of creative efforts intended to help our oceans, for example; fundraising, educational campaigns, gallery exhibits, and youth programs. Magmo is looking for publishers, environmental organizations, and/or sponsors who would be interested in collaborating and developing this project further.
